I helped U3 Ventures team during their collaboration with Wayne State University by supporting the university research department to better visualize their resources and funding data. I designed and developed an interactive data visualization application, using the department original data CSV files with the ability to search, filter and sort by research area, school and assets.
After validating multiple visualization concepts. I restructured the data files so its easily readable and consistent, later used the javascript library D3.js to visualize the data. Allowing the department to keep adding new entries without changing their workflow and sync it immediately with the application so its easily visualized and shared.
